Chotu Taj FAQ: Time, Result, Chart, the Taj Names, Scams, the Law and This Site
Guide updated · Chotu Taj

This Chotu Taj FAQ collects the questions readers ask most often about the 02:50 PM draw and answers each one in a few sentences. The answers are grouped: the draw time and the result first, then the chart and record, the Taj names people mix up, numbers and the so-called khabar trade, the law and safety, and finally how this site works. There are 38 questions in all.
Every answer points to a fuller page where one exists, so the FAQ works as a map of the site as well as a reference. If you only want today's number, the home page card has it, with the time it came; everything else is below.
How to Use This Chotu Taj FAQ
Each group is a list of questions you can open one at a time, and most answers fit on a phone screen. Where a question needs more than three sentences, the answer names the page that goes deeper: the result page for the card, the chart page for the record, the page on the Taj names for Old Taj, Taj and the rest, and the safety and legal guide for anything about money, scams or the law.
The draw times come up in almost every question, so they are set out once here. All times are IST and are the ones printed by the board we read; other boards differ by a few minutes. These eight draws are the columns of the combined chart on this site.
| Draw | Opens at | Where it is covered |
|---|---|---|
| Chotu Taj | 02:50 PM | Home page card and chart |
| Taj | 03:00 PM | Old Taj, Chotu Taj and Taj |
| Delhi Bazar | 03:10 PM | Chotu Taj and Delhi Bazar |
| Shri Ganesh | 04:40 PM | Chotu Taj to DS record |
| Faridabad | 06:05 PM | Chotu Taj Ballabgarh and Faridabad |
| Ghaziabad | 09:30 PM | Chotu Taj to DS record |
| Gali | 11:30 PM | Chotu Taj to DS record |
| Disawar | 05:00 AM (next morning) | Chotu Taj to DS record |
For the background of the game itself, from the 1960s Mumbai cotton-rate betting that became Satta Matka to the Delhi-region draws of today, the Wikipedia article on Satta Matka is a fair starting point, and the page on how the game works fills in the north-Indian side and the odds.

Time and Result
What time is the Chotu Taj result?
The Chotu Taj draw is published at 02:50 PM Indian Standard Time every day, seven days a week. It sits between Patna City at 02:30 PM and Taj at 03:00 PM on the board we read. The number usually appears on the public boards within a few minutes of the draw time.
Why does the card show XX instead of a number?
XX means the draw has not published its number yet. It changes to the two-digit result a few minutes after 02:50 PM. It never means zero, cancelled or an error.
How soon after 02:50 PM does the number appear here?
An automated process reads a public board every two minutes through the day and every minute around 02:50 PM. The number is usually on the card within a few minutes of being declared; on a slow day it can take longer, and it is late everywhere when it is late here.
What does “Today’s number came at” mean?
It is the minute today’s Chotu Taj number was first seen on the public boards by our process. Most sites show a number with no time, so you cannot tell if it is fresh. This stamp is real and changes every day.
Can I see yesterday’s Chotu Taj number as well as today’s?
Yes. The card shows yesterday on the left and today on the right, and the result page explains how to read the two tiles. Earlier dates are on the chart pages.
Why is a number here a few minutes later than on another site?
Every site collects from the same published boards, and the gap between sites is a matter of when each one last checked. A number that appears anywhere before 02:50 PM is not a result; it is a guess.
Do you publish a number before the draw opens?
Never. Nobody outside the small group that runs the draw knows the number before it is declared, and this site shows only what has been published, with the time it was seen.
Chart and Record
What is the Chotu Taj chart?
A record chart lists the published Chotu Taj number for each date of a month, one row per day. The chart page shows the current month; the year pages hold every month as a block.
Where are the older months and the 2025 record?
The 2026 year page holds this year month by month, and the 2025 year page holds last year, which is the first year the public boards carried the draw. Both have counts under the months.
Can the chart tell me which number is due?
No. Each draw is independent, so a number that has not come for weeks is no more likely tomorrow, and a number that came twice is not “hot”. The chart is a record of the past, not a forecast.
What are the number counts under the chart?
They show how often each number came in the month or year, which first and second digits came most, repeats and the longest gap between two appearances of the same number. They describe what was published and nothing more.
What is “Chotu Taj to DS”?
One combined monthly chart from the 02:50 PM Chotu Taj draw through Taj, Delhi Bazar, Shri Ganesh, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gali to the next morning’s Disawar (DS), one row per date. It has its own page.
Why is one month missing from the record?
Because it is missing at the public source we read from. We do not fill gaps with made-up numbers; a missing month stays missing until a public record of it can be found.

The Taj Names: Taj Chotu, Taj, Old Taj, 786, Gold, Ballabgarh
Is Taj Chotu the same as Chotu Taj?
Yes. Taj Chotu is the same 02:50 PM draw written the other way round. Some boards print it that way, and the Taj Chotu page exists so either spelling lands on the right card.
Is Taj the same as Chotu Taj?
No. Taj is a separate draw that opens at 03:00 PM on the board we read (03:15 PM on another board) and publishes a different number.
Is Old Taj the same as Chotu Taj?
On the boards we checked, yes: the Old Taj column carried the same numbers as the Chotu Taj column on every day we compared, so Old Taj appears to be another board’s name for this draw. Compare a few days on any new board before trusting the name.
What are Super Taj, New Taj and Taj Darbar?
Three further draws on other boards that share the Taj name. Super Taj opens at 02:40 PM, New Taj and Taj Darbar at 03:00 PM. None of them is Chotu Taj and none of them is Taj.
What does Chotu Taj Old 786 mean?
It is a style of site name, not a different draw. 786 is a number many sites put in their name because people treat it as lucky, and “Old” marks an older version of a site. The number behind it is the ordinary Chotu Taj number.
What are Chotu Taj Gold and Chotu Taj Mahal?
Mahal is a nickname for the same draw. Gold, like VIP, is a sales word used by paid groups that sell guesses. Neither is a separate draw.
Why is Ballabgarh linked with Chotu Taj?
Ballabgarh is a town in Faridabad district, Haryana, where the draw is widely followed and where Faridabad at 06:05 PM is the local evening draw. The draw is not run from there as far as anyone can show, and we do not claim it is.
Numbers, Khabar and Scams
What is “Chotu Taj ka number”?
Hindi for “the Chotu Taj number”, meaning today’s result. It is the right-hand tile on the card after 02:50 PM. Before that time nobody has it.
What does khabar mean?
Khabar means news. In chat groups it means a number before the draw, which does not exist. The Chotu Taj ka number page explains why and shows today’s real update instead.
Are VIP, lucky or so-called leak offers real?
No. The number is decided offline at draw time by the people who run the draw. Anyone selling a number before 02:50 PM is selling a guess, usually with edited screenshots as proof.
What is a jodi, and what are andar and bahar?
A jodi is the two-digit result from 00 to 99. Andar and bahar (also called haruf) are its first and second digits. “Single jodi” offers in groups are a sales pitch for a guess.
What are the odds in the Chotu Taj draw?
There are a hundred possible numbers and one comes, so a correct guess is one chance in a hundred, every day, regardless of what came before. No chart, tip or system changes that.
How do I recognise a copycat Chotu Taj site?
Look at behaviour, not the name: a button to join a paid group, a number hidden behind a payment or an app download, a number shown before the draw time, no dates or times, or an address with extra words. This site is chotu-taj with a hyphen and nothing added.
Someone asked for my UPI PIN or an OTP to send me a payout. Is that normal?
No. A PIN or OTP is only needed to send money, never to receive it. Refuse, block the person and report it on cybercrime.gov.in or by calling 1930.
The Law and Safety
Is Chotu Taj legal in India?
Betting on the draw is illegal in most Indian states under the Public Gambling Act of 1867 and the state gambling acts, and online money games have been prohibited across India since the 2025 online gaming law. No draw is registered anywhere. Reading a published result is not an offence.
Can I be punished for checking a result?
No gambling law covers looking at a published number or a chart. The offences are betting, running a draw and acting as a bookie.
Is betting through an app or a UPI link different from betting at a shop?
No. Since 2025 online money games are prohibited nationwide, so paying for a position on a number through an app or a link is unlawful, just as it is offline.
Where can I get help if betting has become a problem?
Tele-MANAS on 14416 is a free, confidential government helpline open day and night in many languages. The safety and legal page lists the other routes and a self-check.
What should I do if I already paid someone for a number?
Stop paying, save the chat and the transaction ID, report the payment as fraud in your UPI app and on cybercrime.gov.in or 1930 the same day, block the seller and tell one person you trust. The safety page has the full steps.
This Site
Does this site run the Chotu Taj draw or take bets?
No. It is an information site. It shows published results, charts and times; it takes no bets, holds no money, sells nothing and sends no numbers.
Where do your results come from?
An automated process reads public result boards every two minutes, checks that the value is a proper two-digit number and stores it with the time it was read. The site is rebuilt daily and the card refreshes every minute. The about page describes it in full.
Do I need an account or an app?
No. There is no account, no login and no app. Every page works in any browser on any phone. Any APK that uses the Chotu Taj name is not ours.
Do you use cookies or track visitors?
There are no accounts, forms or payments here. The privacy policy explains what the hosting provider logs, what the result refresh sends (no personal data) and what any adverts shown later may set.
A result on your card looks wrong. What should I do?
Note the date, the draw and the number you saw elsewhere, wait for the next refresh, and if it still differs tell us through the contact page. We correct what we can verify against a public board.
Is there a Hindi version of this site?
Yes. The main pages, including the result, chart, live and Satta King pages, have Hindi versions under /hi/, linked from the header and footer.

Stay Safe: Information, Not Advice
The short answers above about the law are summaries, not legal advice. Betting on Chotu Taj or any other draw is illegal in most Indian states, no number can be known before 02:50 PM, and every offer of a paid number, a group, an app or an unlock is a way to lose money. If betting is affecting your money, sleep or family, 14416 is free and private, and 1930 is the line for money already lost to a scam.

Conclusion: The Chotu Taj FAQ in One Paragraph
The draw opens at 02:50 PM and the number is shown here as it is collected, with the time it came; the chart records the past and cannot forecast; Taj Chotu is the same draw, Taj is a different one, and Old Taj matched Chotu Taj on the boards we checked; 786, Old, Gold and Mahal are names, not draws; nobody has a number before the draw; the law prohibits the bet, not the reading of a result; and this site shows information and asks for nothing. If your question is not in this Chotu Taj FAQ, the about page explains how the site works and the way to reach us explains how to send one of your own.
